The Continuing Saga of My Very Naughty Documents

For those of you who have followed along here, when we last left our dear documents they were finally notarized and on their way to our agency (quadruple yay!), who would send them to the state, then to the Chinese embassy in Washington and then to China.

Well...three weeks later and the documents are nowhere to be found.  As in lost.  As in Traci will have to go through the whole painful process again, asking my doctor to fill out a medical release form for the fourth time and re-requesting birth certificates from the State (praying the lady I called nearly everyday for two weeks doesn't hang up on me).  Just thinking about it makes me get dry heaves.

However, when Chip got home from his mission trip, guess what was in our mailbox?

$.95 cents.   My sanity was nearly eaten up over $.95 cents (yes, we used a postage machine so who knows).  Although it was a bummer they didn't get to the agency on time, I was so happy to see them I didn't care.  So now they are postaged up and back on their way to our agency, then the State...blah blah blah.  To be continued.

Only positive to your nightmare is that you and I will now be on very close timelines. Us in China together would' be amazing!
