Act 2

Yesterday we got the final thing we were waiting for - travel approval and consulate appointment, otherwise known as TA and CA.  Or in my adoption facebook group, TA!!!!!! and CA!!!!!!.  We'll be leaving for China in 3 weeks.  We'll meet our son on my birthday and meet our daughter three days later.  I have no idea how Chip's going to top that next year.

Tonight was our last night home alone with just our little family of three.  Chip's father is coming tomorrow and things get even crazier after that but tonight was just us by the fire, Eli playing with his trains and me wondering where the sleeping baby went. Really wondering, and overcome with nostalgia and longing.

It's been a blissful four years and I thank God for that.  Time for Act 2.
