A little over a year ago...
God: I am able to do exceedingly, abundantly more than you ever thought possible.
Me: I don't believe you.
God: I am.
The day after he said this, in my Jesus Today devotional:
Me: What about all the times we thought you would come through and you didn't. What was that all about??
God: You needed hope. So I gave you glimpses, shadows of what was to come.
My Jesus Today reading the next day:

This is God’s Word on the subject: “As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. Jeremiah 29

The day I chose to trust (then un-chose the day after). But it's good to have a touchstone.
The day after the night I decided, very decidely, to not only not trust you, but to call you something you are not (unfaithful).
