Eli signs L - O - A!

Guess what peeps? We got our approval from China to adopt Trey and Rosalee!!! It's officially called the Letter Seeking Confirmation or Letter of Approval (LOA). Our agency says we should be traveling in about 3 months, woot! But my friend Lori already knew that. Before we were approved she dreamed we went to China on November 11th. It's nice to have prophetic friends.
Getting the approval now was huge, because the adoption tax credit goes away at the end of this year. To everyone who was praying we would get there and back by December 31 - thank you and thank you.
Now for the good stuff - we can finally some post pictures! The pics on the left were our referral picture. The ones on the right we just received as an update. Meet sweet Rosalee and Trey...
Rosalee is 3-years-old and will turn four in November. The update we got said she's at the school for the deaf but we're not sure if she's there all the time or just during the week.
Trey is 1-year-old and will turn two in September. The update we received from him
said his closest companion is Aunt Zhee. We've been praying for you Aunt Zhee.
Once we got our LOA there was another round of paperwork fun to be had. But this time it was actually fun. The Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration is where we give the kids their official name U.S. name. Pretty cool.
Me naming the kids.

We praise God that we were approved and will most likely be traveling this year. Now for the packing list...
