So our second day in Beijing has
been extremely busy but great. Again,
extolling the benefits of the lovely, lovely sleep we got the day before. Oh sleep, how I missed you!
Here’s what we did today, part 1. Although it seems like a horribly American
thing to say, I think my favorite thing was seeing the water cube where The
Greatest Olympian of All Time worked his magic.
Our guide George says the Chinese call it the Miracle Cube. I agree!

| Apparently you can't just walk up to the Water Cube. But we got pretty close. |
| Phelps baby! |
The Water Cube
| The Bird's Nest |
| Still lots going on in the Olympic park. |
| The Great Wall |
| Chip made it to the top. I did not. I was seconds from puking all over one of the seven wonders of the world. |
| Jade factory. Very nice. |
| Even in China I can find the bargain bins! Thanks for the training Mom! |
| Beijing acrobat theatre. Loved it! |
Beijing traffic is
unbelievable. On a fairly deserted
Saturday night, it took us over an hour to get a few miles. Crazy!
