I’m reading this book recommended by Amy, Lord Change Me by Evelyn Christenson. In starting the book, even the title spoke to me strongly. I went into it thinking the point was to teach me how to put blinders on, so I wouldn’t see other’s faults. Now I’m realizing that I need to take the blinders off, so I can my own faults. Crazy how my brain allows me to overlook all my own flaws while magnifying everyone else’s. But as I have to remember, we are not un-opposed. God, thank you for your only-God-could do it ability to reveal parts of me that try so hard to remain hidden. Change me into your image by the Word, the saber of the Spirit, by which the foundations of the earth were laid.
